- FLWI positions itself as the counrty’s institution and premiere provider of relevant, superior, state-of-the art education technologies, professional services and products, holistic health interventions and programs, dedicated to the promotion of total health and well-being of the Filipino family.
- The FLWI serves as a catalyst for strengthening families, to help them advocate for their needs Body Mind Emotions and Spirit and situations and challenges within the community at large, given the pivotal role they play in establishing a stable and thriving Christian-centered community, upholding time-honored universal and traditional Filipino values of love for God and family, service to community and country.
- It envisions itself to be the Country’s leader and pioneer in the fields of COMPLEMENTARY-ALTERNATIVE and INTEGRATIVE Medicine and Health Sciences and the establishing health and wellness centers and facilities.
Our Mission . . .
- To provide appropriate support and assistance to the family and its members by way of offering professional services in the form of assessment, diagnosis, specific interventions such as holistic health modalities, psychological assessment and therapies for individuals, couples, families, groups including developmental strategies and interventions for children with exceptional needs (from gifted to mentally, behaviorally and emotionally challenged children).
- To develop families within the school community and beyond in their efforts to achieve their highest potentials in emotional stability, physical fitness, mental health, cultural awareness, spirituality, and quality of life.
- To provide educational opportunities for professionals and community workers to pursue certificate, diploma and graduate degrees in areas of Family life and Family Wellness, Complementary/Integrative and Holistic Health Arts and Sciences, MA in Family Life and Wellness, Pastoral and Wellness Counseling, MA in Family Life and Addiction Counseling, Certificate and Diploma courses in Hospice and Quality of Life Care and such other educational and training courses that will advance the well-being and wholeness of individuals and families in the community. Holistic health clinics which include Complementary and Alternative Medicine Modalities and Holistic Nutrition.
- While FLWI is a Catholic and Christian institution, it accepts all persons from all socio-economic, ethnic, spiritual, religious, etc. backgrounds, and cultural diversity.
- To provide educational and outreach programs offering growth in God-centered, spiritual living to a wide variety of persons and community groups and various clientle:e.g. adolescents, mid-lifers, senior citizens, etc. thereby strengthening the wholeness and quality of family life and family environment;
- To actively uphold, protect, promote and advocate in all its programs and activities, the dignity and value of human life in all its stages of existence (from conception-to-birth-to-life-to death), and enshrining this most valuable philosophy and orientation in all of FLWI’s educational and health programs.
- To integrate knowledge of counselling, coaching, spirituality with the highest levels of clinical and pastoral skills in various community settings.
- To engage in research and scholarly studies in the areas of family life, family wellness and family environment for professional advancement.
- To strengthen family relationships in a globally competitive village where diversity creates unity and respect among individuals
